.308 0.936" Vise Rod (AV3 series)

What does it do?
Allows you to secure your upper with a vise block
- Which makes working on your upper and barrel an absolute breeze.
For example, removing/adding barrel; barrel nut / handguard; brake etc. etc.
How to use:
Insert flat end into vise block and tighen securely.
Slide upper over rod and align the barrel extension with the splines of the rod.
Each rod has 8 splines so if the angle of the upper isn't right, simply remove & rotate the upper, then and slide back on.
Measurements:
Goes from 0.902" to 1.19" at spine cluster (barrel end) - works on .936" barrels, commonly found on AR 308s.

Top section is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy. Remainder is 6061-T6 aluminum alloy.
